We had been shopping around for Interior Designers for some time Lemonfridge caught our attention because their styles seemed to align with our own. We also understood that rapport with the Interior Designer would be very important as we, as clients, placed a very high premium on response time, ability to adapt to and understand client’s need and suggestions, execution performance and feedback implementation. Lemonfridge and in particular their ID Charlotte ticked all the boxes and then some! To say we were impressed by their (and their ID’s) competence is an understatement. The works - from starting board to the finished product - was excellently managed and delivered, even though we as clients varied our ideas more often then we expected. They were always accommodating and responsive, and a real pleasure to work with.

We had a great experience working with Mario on our home renovation. He was patient with our many changes, even when we weren’t sure what we wanted, and always took the time to go through the details and documents thoroughly with us.

He was proactive with communication and follow-ups, even when we were slow to respond, stayed on top of the schedule despite major changes affecting the timeline, and handled difficult neighbours professionally.

Really appreciate his patience, attention to detail and commitment throughout. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience working with Kaze Tan for the renovation of our home, and we honestly have nothing but great things to say about him.

We chose to work with Kaze largely because of his portfolio and his ability to execute the dark modern luxury aesthetic that we were looking for. This was a near-complete overhaul of our home, involving extensive carpentry, electrical wiring, plumbing, lighting, masonry, metalworks, and fixtures. Kaze also accompanied us to various stores to help us select our tiles, laminates, lighting, bathroom fixtures and furnishings. For a full-home renovation of this scale, having someone who could coordinate and guide us through so many different aspects of the project was extremely valuable.

What impressed us most was how meticulous and responsive Kaze was throughout the entire process. We generally received prompt responses, even late at night or on weekends. More importantly, he didn't simply tell us what we should do; he would explain the reasoning behind his recommendations, which made it much easier for us to make informed decisions.

From a design perspective, Kaze was excellent at taking our ideas and turning them into something practical and cohesive. He would usually prepare the initial design and planning for us, which gave us a strong starting point that we could then modify to our liking. This was particularly helpful for things like lighting and electrical planning, as well as the internal configurations of our carpentry and wardrobes.

He also came up with several impressive ideas that we hadn't seen from the other interior designers we spoke to. A few examples that we particularly liked were a movable bar table in the living area that can be tucked away into the carpentry when not in use; a bifold door for one of the rooms that allows us to open it up and effectively make it part of the living space when we don't need it as a separate room; a TV console that doubles as a room divider to save space; and a smartly concealed walkway to our master bedroom using fluted panels.

What we appreciated most, though, was that the design wasn't just about looking good. Kaze was very good at balancing aesthetics with practical living. We don't have a storeroom, so storage was a major consideration, and he incorporated plenty of storage into the design. We also have a newborn, so we specifically wanted the home to be safe for a young child. Things such as avoiding a hanging TV console, minimising sharp edges, and avoiding furniture or carpentry near windows that could potentially become climbing points were all thoughtfully taken into consideration.

Another thing we really appreciated was how cost-conscious Kaze was on our behalf. He never pushed unnecessary additions or design features. In fact, there were instances where he recommended that we remove certain carpentry because it wasn't particularly practical for us at this stage, and pointed out that it could easily be added later if our needs changed. We appreciated this approach because it showed that he was thinking about what actually made sense for us, rather than trying to maximise the scope of the renovation. If we eventually need those additions, we know we can simply reach out to him again.

We're also dog owners, and when we asked for a pet door to be incorporated into our master bedroom and a pet showering area in the service yard, Kaze was able to work these into the design and execute them properly.

The project management was another area where Kaze really stood out. We had a hard deadline to move into our new home, which was tight especially given the scale of the renovation. Kaze was able to complete the project in only 2.5 months, and the new home was ready for us to move in as planned.

Kaze was also very proactive throughout the renovation. We didn't encounter any major issues, and given how quickly he tended to identify and address potential problems, we believe that many issues were resolved before they even became problems for us. He was our main point of contact and remained personally involved throughout the project.

The workmanship was excellent overall. Of course, a renovation of this scale will never be absolutely perfect, and we did have a few minor defects. What mattered to us was how quickly they were acknowledged and addressed. Whenever we raised an issue, Kaze would promptly arrange for it to be rectified. Even after the renovation was completed, he repeatedly told us not to hesitate to let him know if we noticed anything else that needed attention. That gave us a lot of confidence that he genuinely cared about the finished product rather than simply getting the project handed over.

Most importantly, the end result is a home that looks like what we wanted while still functioning well for our actual day-to-day life. Kaze managed to take our ideas, improve on them, and integrate them into a cohesive design without making the home feel impractical just for the sake of aesthetics.

If a friend asked us whether we would engage Kaze again, the answer would be an unequivocal yes — without a second thought. We would have no hesitation recommending Kaze to anyone looking for an ID who is meticulous, responsive, practical, design-oriented and genuinely involved throughout the renovation process.

We’re very happy with the overall work and effort put into our home by Louis from Lemonfridge. He was helpful with his recommendations and suggestions, and was able to provide ideas that suited our needs and preferences.

While there were a few areas that required some fine-tuning along the way, Louis was always prompt with his follow-ups and responsive whenever we had questions or feedback. He was also open to our suggestions and worked with us to make the necessary adjustments.

I coordinated with Chris for some electrical works, and he made the entire process incredibly seamless. He was very helpful in coordinating with the electricians and arranging the schedules, which saved me a lot of time and hassle.

We worked with Zihwei on the full renovation of our place at Martaban Road, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. From the very first proposal, she brought ideas we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves — the arched feature between the kitchen and the entrance foyer cabinet, the backlit accents, the gold detailing, and the Spanish tiles that pulled the whole palette together. She had a real instinct for making a compact space feel open, intimate, and considered all at once.

What stood out just as much as her creativity was how genuinely collaborative and patient she was. We came to her with a lot of specific requests — an existing bed frame to design around, an unusual mustard-yellow sofa to complement, materials to swap, layouts to rethink — and she met every one of them with thoughtful 3D mockups and mood boards so we could actually see the choices before committing. She was flexible with meetings around our travel, kept a careful eye on the budget, and never made us feel like any question was too small.

The result is a home that feels distinctly ours: warm, sleek, and full of small touches we love. Zihwei turned our vague ideas into something far better than we imagined. Yu Cheng & Chelsea did a wonderful job of renovating my 1st home at Sengkang, making it warm and cosy. Couldn't imagine myself managing all the various contractors hahaha. They are responsive throughout the renovation process and helped out with the decisions (etc colour whether it fits the scandi theme). Their close interactions with the different contractors has also helped in ensuring the works are done properly and responsibility . I would give them more than 5 stars if i can, as their efforts goes beyond the project. Even during the 1 year warranty phase, any issues that we faced, once we informed them , they will do their best to resolve it asap. I will highly recommend them to be your IDs for your 1st home! :)

I engaged Zih Wei for my 4-room resale flat (full reno), and overall it’s been a really good experience!

What stood out was her design thinking and responsiveness. I initially wanted an open concept kitchen, but she proposed a closed kitchen layout while retaining my preference for a dry pantry. I liked her counter-proposal and went with it. Absolutely no regrets! It works much better for how we use the space.

She also got my style preference. While I had some out-of-norm preferred colours, she worked with my preference and manage to accommodate or adjust to achieve the overall effect. This was done through lots of listening and communication. The overall design turns out great, and very very similar to the 3D rendition shared with us. 

The renovation process went smoothly. She’s responsive and proactive. Timeline was managed well, and budget was clear. She also suggested alternatives when things were going beyond what I was comfortable with. Rectifications, if needed, were handled quickly, which I appreciated.

All in all, Zih Wei is a solid and dependable ID to work with. It's been two weeks since we have moved in, and we have been enjoying the space every day! :)

We were assigned to Xinjie when we enquired with Lemonfridge and we are so happy with how our first home turned out!

Xinjie has been friendly and professional, and understood our vision from the first meeting. She gave us good ideas and we were impressed at how our home really matches the renders she showed us at an earlier stage of the renovation. Xinjie was also dependable. She was a great help when we were travelling, and we felt at ease letting her oversee the renovation process and make decisions.

Had a smooth and wonderful experience with Jeffrey Lee & Xinjie during our intense timeline for home renovation. We had a very tight timeline for moving in to our new place and approach Jeffery for help.
From start till end of renovation, they gave us alot of assurance and confidence that the timeline is met.

On top of keeping to our timeline, they also make sure there was no compromise in the details put in to the design and selection of materials.

Special mention to ID - Xinjie for being very meticulous and also very attentive to details. She gave us plenty of suggestions & solutions to decision we need to make and has many creative ideas. One “superhero” ability of Xinjie is , she remembers  every request we made and is responsible to reply us whether it’s doable or not.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Jeffrey and Xinjie to others!

Trusted my wife’s instinct when she chose Esmonde Pang (a multi-talented young man, by the way!) for our new home — and it turned out to be the best decision. We were going for a Japandi theme and wanted the entire house to feel bright and airy, especially with our unit being southeast-facing and enjoying beautiful morning light.
